Prefix spray adhesive is an easy to use powerful adhesive that requires no mixing or extensive preparation. It is designed to produce a high strength bond for a range of materials including foam, fabrics, wood, concrete, metal, plastic and rubber. Prefix is not suitable for use with plasticised PVC. Note: Estimated coverage = 2.5 - 3m² per litre. Coverage is reduced on absorbent surfaces.
Technical Specification:
Usage Guidelines: Prefix is extremely easy to apply, firstly ensure that surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from any contaminants. Spray the adhesive in a uniform coating from approximately 25cm (10 inches). For applications on porous materials, or for maximum strength adhesion, coat both surfaces. Allow 1-2 minutes for the solvents to evaporate. Press together firmly, working from the centre outwards to achieve a good bond. For best results the adhesive should be used at temperatures between 15ºC-25ºC and stored at temperatures between 10ºC-20ºC. Any excess adhesive may be removed with our solvent cleaner.
