6513 - Silicone Glass Fibre Ducting (2 Ply)

6513 - silicone glass fibre ducting (2 ply) is manufactured from two layers of silicone coated glass cloth and further reinforced with an encapsulated steel helix between the two plies for additional strength. This flexible, high temperature ducting has a recommended maximum operating temperature of +300°C (intermittent) and is suitable for extracting hot air in various applications. Application

Hot air extraction in ceramic kilns, airplane and helicopter cockpit heating, fume extraction, air conduction in areas with high temperatures and protection of cables travelling through hot areas.

  • Temperature: -70°C to +250°C (continuous), -85°C to +300°C (intermittent).
  • Excellent heat ageing characteristics and low temperature flexibility.
