Vole Brand Tufnol®

Vole brand Tufnol® is a cotton fabric based laminate. It is a medium/fine weave grade which is used where the finish requirements of shape of the component demand a finer reinforcement than other general purpose grades. We offer B11 as an alternative to vole brand Tufnol®.

Applications

Typically used where a well machined finish is important, but where the benefits of the finest weave grades are not considered necessary. This includes medium/fine gears, threaded items, blades and wear resistant components.

Key Features

• Temperature: Up to +120°C, (+130°C intermittent).
• Good machining qualities.
• Electrically insulating at low temperatures.

Availability

Note: Rods may be machined from sheet rather than moulded. Minimum order quantities may apply. We can also supply tubular section, hexagonal bar and rectangular bar.
