Bear Brand Tufnol®

Bear brand Tufnol® is a cotton fabric based laminate. It has been specially formulated for use as a lubricated bearing material in a range of applications.

Applications

Commonly used for oil and grease lubricated bearings, slideways, water lubricated marine bearings, pump sleeve bearings, seal rings, mixer bearings, slipper pads, rolling mill bearings and guide bushes.

Temperature: Up to +120°C (+130°C intermittent).
Enhanced wearing and electrical properties.
Low water absorption.
Good dimensional stability.

Availability

Colour:	Natural.
Sheet Size (mm):	1200 x 1200, 1525 x 1200.
Thickness (mm):	1.6 up to 228.4.
Rod Length (mm):	1200 (for 6 up to 100 diameter), 600 (for 110 up t o150 diameter).
Rod Diameter (mm):	6 up to 150.

Note: Rods may be machined from sheet rather than moulded. Minimum order quantities may apply. We can also supply tubular section, hexagonal bar and rectangular bar.
