GRP pultruded sections are manufactured from thermosetting resins with a fibre reinforcement. They are commonly used in the construction of composite structures as an alternative to concrete, steel and wood.
Providing exceptional corrosion and weather resistance, GRP sections are used as a durable anti-slip measure across a wide range of internal and external applications such as walkways, platforms, ladders and handrails.
Our range of GRP pultruded sections are manufactured to BS EN 13706. As part of this specification, all profiles with a wall thickness between 3-5mm meet the E17 performance grade, while profiles with a wall thickness over 5mm meet the higher performance E23 grade.
As standard, our GRP pultruded sections are supplied as two packs of 3m lengths either grey or yellow in colour. They can be manufactured from specification resins if required including Pt7 Class 1 grade, Pt7 Class 2 grade and flame retardant to BS476. Low toxicity and low smoke grades can also be supplied upon request.
All profiles can be supplied in complete lengths or cut to size if required. To obtain a quotation, please contact our technical sales team by clicking the 'Enquire Now' button above.
