Silicone sponge sheeting - FDA approved is a mostly closed cell, smooth-skinned silicone sponge which complies with both FDA 21 CFR 1.77.2600 and EC 1935/2004. This makes it suitable for use within the food and pharmaceutical industries. It also has excellent resistance to weathering, UV and ozone and is a good thermal insulator.
