Type A idler support rings are mounted onto the reverse rollers to help prevent dirt from encrusting and building up on the idlers. They also help to ensure that the belt runs smoothly on the return side.
*Please note that dimension C shown is to suit the outside diameter of the idler roller it is being fitted onto. The actual inside diameter of the idler component will be approximately 5% smaller to provide a tight fit onto the roller.
Type B idler support rings are mounted onto the return rollers. As with the type A rings, they help to prevent dirt from encrusting and building up on the idlers.
Type C idler impact rings are used in the impact or loading areas of conveyors. They are able to absorb any drop energy produced by the belt and thus protect the belt from damages.
Idler large diameter discs are used to bridge a larger distance between the idler centre and the belt, helping to provide additional support.
Idler cleaning rings are spiral rings which are attached to the rollers for cleaning purposes. As the conveyor roller turns, the motion of the cleaning ring will convey the dirt from the centre of the belt to the outside.
