PolyATEX® | A Unique ATEX/IECEx Rated Polyurethane Film.
PolyATEX® thermoplastic polyurethane is a clear, ether-based sheeting which is anti-static in accordance with the requirements of IEC60079-0:2018 clause 26.13. As such, this material is static dissipative and is suitable for use in ATEX/IECEx equipment with a material requirement to meet this test standard.
Static electricity is also a known risk. Under certain circumstances, a discharge of static electricity can create the spark that starts a fire or triggers an explosion.

PolyATEX® is extremely tough, durable and tear-resistant making it suitable for fabricating into sleeves, chutes and connectors in product transfer applications. It also complies with FDA regulations and does not contain PVC or latex making it a popular option for food contact applications where an anti-static durable material is required. It can be supplied in sheet or roll form, or manufactured by us into bespoke products such as chutes and connectors.

PolyATEX® has been surface resistivity tested in accordance with the requirements of IEC60079-0:2018 clause 26.13 and has PASSED. As such, this material is static dissipative and is suitable for use in ATEX/IECEx equipment with a material requirement to meet this test standard.
