6504F - Heavy Duty PU Ducting (Food Approved)

6504F - heavy duty PU ducting (food approved) is manufactured from translucent polyurethane, reinforced with a coated steel spiral for additional strength when in use. This food approved ducting has an almost smooth bore, making it a suitable choice when conveying dry and abrasive materials such as pellets and powders. We can supply polyurethane ducting in a range of sizes to suit a range of applications. Applications

Delivery of abrasive materials, dry foods, pellets and powders.

Key Features

Temperature: -40°C to +90°C (+125°C short term).
The wall material is anti-static (R < 10⁹ Ohm/m)
Abrasion resistant.
Excellent resistance to microbes, hydrolysis, chemicals, ozone, UV rays and weather conditions.
Phthalate free & odourless.

EU Regulation 10/2011.
FDA title 21 CFR 177.2600.
RoHS 2011/65/EU Directive.
It can be made electrically bonded by earthing the steel spiral.
The electrical resistance R ≤ 10² Ohm/m is according to ISO 8031 - ATEX Directive 94/4/EC and 99/92/EC.
