Ceramic Plaited Sleeving

Ceramic plaited sleeving is manufactured from blown alumina-silicate fibre yarns reinforced with an inconel wire to improve the tensile strength at elevated temperatures.

Applications

High temperature cable and pipe protection.

Key Features

Temperature: Up to 1260°C (ceramic plaited sleeving), up to +1000°C (wire reinforcement).
Resistant to most chemicals except phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid and strong alkalis.
Non-combustible.
Has a low thermal conductivity.
Good resistance to thermal shock.
