Tactile paving is designed to guide and warn visually impaired persons in public areas, including access to buildings and transport facilities. The British Government's Department for Transport and Building Regulations require local authorities to provide tactile surfaces to comply with the Equality Act 2010; The guidance on the use of these tiles states, 'It is therefore important that it's used correctly and consistently so that conflicting and confusing information is not conveyed'.
These paving tiles are manufactured from extremely durable, slip resistant polyurethane or GRP (glass reinforced plastic). They are also quick and easy to install on many different surfaces, such as concrete, asphalt and steel, using a choice of adhesives. For more information, please see our availability section below.
We offer these products on our e-commerce site, PAR Direct, where we offer free shipping for over £50.
