Manufactured from a choice of rubber or foam, electrical safety and anti-static matting is designed to provide workplace protection in high voltage environments.
Rubber electrical safety mats are designed to withstand voltages from 450 up to 36,000 dependent on their part classification. Our range of rubber mattings comply with various standards such as BS EN 61111 2009 (IEC 61111:2009) and the now superseded BS 921:1976.
For less demanding applications, foam is also a popular choice due its electro-static dissipative properties. These mats are commonly used for assembly lines, computer rooms, hospitals, photocopying areas and walkways and comply with IEC 61340-4-1, ISO6356 and EN 1815 standards.
Actual working voltages should be verified before installation in each situation. Please click the following links for more information, or alternatively, please contact our sales office.
This matting is certified as meeting BS EN 61111:2009; the industry standard since the withdrawal of the now obsolete BS 921:1976. It comes in five different classes from 0-4, and has a fine fluted upper surface with a cloth impression on the reverse.
This matting has been 11,000 volt tested for 450v safety working where high voltage switchgear is in operation. It features a fine fluted pattern on the upside and an anti-creep cloth on the reverse.
