Acrylic and Perspex® Sheet

Acrylic and Perspex® Sheet

Acrylic sheet is a common display plastic. PAR Group supply cast, extruded, mirrored and Perspex® acrylic in a range of colours, sizes and thicknesses.

Compared to other plastics, acrylic sheets are easy to machine, cut, drill, polish and can also be fabricated and formed. The material also offers outstanding UV resistance and good chemical resistance properties.

If you require a different grade than cast acrylic, we also offer extruded sheet, a chemically resistant thermoplastic with low water absorption. Ideal for prototype models, signs and screens.

Genuine Perspex® sheets are a premium brand of cast acrylic that can achieve long term weather resistance with no colour discolouration and allow in excess of 92% transmission of visible light. The high surface quality is achieved by casting against glass and should be used where light and weathering are important factors. Compared to other engineering plastics such as PETG or Polycarbonate, the impact strength of acrylic sheet is lower.
