As a trusted supplier of plastic rod to industry, PAR Group have been manufacturing and supplying semi-finished polymers for over three decades. We hold stock of an extensive range of thermoplastics that are utilised across a number of market sectors and are often applied in demanding applications as an alternative to traditional materials such as metal.
At PAR, our stocked range includes machining, display and specialist grades in a large selection of diameters and lengths. Popular options include acetal copolymer, which offers high rigidity and resistance to wear, PVC that provides excellent resistance to chemicals and good electrical insulation properties, and polypropylene, which is highly resistant to acids and is extremely lightweight.
Alternatively, if excellent optical clarity is required for display purposes, we offer a selection of plastics such as acrylic, nylon 12 and polycarbonate. Specialist engineering grades for use in demanding industrial environments are also available and polymers such as PEEK perform exceptionally well against aggressive chemicals, hydrolysis, high temperatures and wear.
We also supply a wide range of nylon 6 that includes standard engineering grades for general purpose machining, cast moly filled for high load bearing applications and cast oil filled for improved resistance to wear and reduced co-efficient of friction.
