PAR Group Delivers Christmas Cheer with Selection Box Donation

With the festive season in full swing at PAR Group, we are delighted to launch an initiative aimed at bringing a touch of magic to people of all ages. In the true spirit of giving, we are going to be donating over 400 selection boxes to various communities.

Supporting 'Whites Wonderland' at Preston North End:

Our first contribution involved gifting 200 selection boxes to Preston North End in support of their first-ever 'Whites Wonderland' event. Held on the 26th of November, this event marked the Christmas light switch-on at Deepdale. Attendees enjoyed local stalls, performances by talented artists, and a raffle. Our donation served as a special treat for all the children present.

Partnering with Inspire Youth Zone in Chorley: 

In collaboration with Inspire Youth Zone in Chorley.  We contributed 40 selection boxes to their 'Hampers of Support' scheme. This initiative, part of their broader festive period outreach, focuses on aiding 40 identified local families and has asked businesses and individuals in the local area if they can offer any generosity this Christmas and help put together hampers which will allow these families to enjoy something nice on Christmas Day.

Bringing Festive Joy to Buckshaw Retirement Village:

Recognising the importance of spreading festive cheer across all generations, we made a heartwarming donation of 196 selection boxes to Buckshaw Retirement Village. We decided that we could spread festive cheer across all generations. This gesture ensures that each resident receives a Christmas offering. The donation, made on the 5th of December, aligns with the start of festivities at the Grange where residents will be treated to a visit from Santa and their own Christmas light switch-on.

We really enjoyed our visit to Buckshaw retirement village, meeting with some of the residents and the wellbeing managers, Julie McGlough and Sean Gibson. One of the residents had to say about the visit,  "What a lovely thing to do to make us feel special and part of the community. I was moved by it and particularly reaching out to us as the older generation."
