Polycarbonate Sheet

Polycarbonate is one of the most popular options for greenhouse window panes as it offers excellent strength, stability, and optical clarity. Our standard range of Impex® polycarbonate sheets is manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11963. We are also able to cut polycarbonate sheets to fit your requirements.

Twinwall & Multiwall Polycarbonate Sheet

Commonly used when constructing greenhouses, the twin and multiwall layers have a cell-like structure that encourages air insulation, provides better thermal insulation, and is a more energy-efficient choice. Besides this, it has similar impact resistance and UV protection to a standard polycarbonate sheet.

Acrylic and Perspex® Sheet

These sheets are lightweight, offer UV resistance properties, and are approved for food contact. Genuine Perspex® sheets are a premium brand of cast acrylic that can achieve long-term weather resistance with no colour discolouration and allow an excess of 92% visible light to be transmitted. They don't offer as good an impact strength as the polycarbonate options, so watch out for those wayward footballs!

Polythene Sheet

This sheeting is an option that may be easier to install than the others and will provide sound light transmission. However, this may require replacing more often than the other options as it has a short lifespan and is typically used as a stop-gap solution.
