Charnock are set to open up their North West Counties Premier Division campaign this Saturday 3rd August (3pm) when they take on newly promoted Ryland’s FC at Gorsey Park. CRFC will then return to Mossie Park a few days later (6/7/19, 7:45pm) to face Barnoldswick FC in their first home game.
This season marks the start of a new era as the club say farewell to Andy Westwell as he steps down after 18 years at the helm. During his time as manager, Westwell lead the team to 505 Wins (in 777 games) which included a massive 6 division titles and 10 cups / shields!
Former reserve player and manager Ryan Donnellan now takes charge stating, “I’d like to thank the club for the opportunity. Work started over 12 months ago from myself but the real work starts now and I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
A new manager is not all the first team have this season. With PAR’s sponsorship we improved our deal to provide full 1st team matchday wear which includes; branded t-shirts, hoodies, tracksuits and jackets. More details to follow.
