As an ongoing festive tradition, PAR Group employees will be saying “Bah Humbug!” to Christmas cards in favour of digging deep and making charitable donations to worthy causes.
Our chosen charity is Shelter, who we also chose to support in our 2020 campaign. Shelter help millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness.
As we all know, the Covid-19 pandemic is still a problem for us here in the UK. As with last year, the pandemic has shown the importance of having a safe placed to call home - something that not everyone has access to. By supporting Shelter, we hope to do our bit towards helping those local to us who are either currently homeless or at risk of homelessness.
At PAR Group our annual charity drives have always been extremely successful, with last year’s grand total reaching £3,140 following the company’s donation match contribution. It would be fantastic if we could do the same again this year in support of a very worthy cause, and in support of people who may have fallen on hard times due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
