PAR Group can supply a range of different welding screens that are manufactured to welding standard EN1598, ensuring that the screens provide excellent protection from welding flash and ignition. From our economical WS100, to the heavy duty WS500, we have the welding screen to suit your specific application.
Welding screens can be assembled without effort by utilising a 'click and lock' mechanism. This system also makes the frames quick and easy to dismantle when not in use. In addition to this, welding screens can be easily relocated and manoeuvred around the workshop due to their lightweight design. We can supply additional packs of PVC welding curtain should these be required, for further information please see the availability table below. Our full range can be purchased online at PAR Direct by clicking on the 'buy now' button above.
Our WS100 welding screen offers an economical solution to protection from welding flash and ignition. The frame comes supplied with a 1-piece welding curtain which is attached through the top rail and tensioned to the bottom corners using a supplied tensioning clip.
WS200 welding screens offer the same benefits as the WS100 in being easy to assemble and manoeuvre. They are supplied with a heavy duty frame that is 32.9mm in diameter and weighs around 4kg more than the WS100, making it a slightly better option for more demanding applications. The welding screen comes supplied with a solid 1-piece curtain that is attached through both the top rail and lower tensioning bar, thus increasing the overall strength of the screen.
The WS300 welding screen has a wider frame than both the WS100 and the WS200. The PVC screen is supplied in 5 separate strips rather than the 1-piece screens as above. These strips are then attached to the header rail using metal curtain rings and each individual strip is fastened to the next using plastic 'click studs'.
The WS400 welding screens is a top of the range option offering increased mobility than the previous due to the four castors on the feet. Two of these feet are lockable, keeping the screen in place while it is being used. The WS400 screen is supplied in five strips (as per the WS300), which are then attached using plastic 'click studs.'
The WS500 screen is as per the WS400, but comes supplied with two 1080mm long pivoting arms that can be rotated up to 180 degrees. This allows for the screen to be folded, creating a three sided welding bay, or left straight to form one long screen. The WS500 welding screen is supplied with castors on all four feet, including two which are lockable.
PAR Group can supply additional PVC welding curtains to suit our WS300, WS400 and WS500. Packs consist of 5 PVC door curtain strips which fasten together using 'press studs' to create a 1-piece curtain (WS500 requires 3 packs of additional curtain). This is then connected to the headrail by using curtain rings. The curtain conforms to EN1598 for welding safety.
The WS6x6 screen is a popular option as it is lightweight and easily assembled via a click lock system. Our WS6X6 comes supplied with the frame and welding curtain. Manufactured with eyelets on all 4 sides of the welding curtain, this allows it to be used on other frames or areas around the workplace.
