PEEK Sheet

PEEK sheet (polyether ether ketone) is an extremely tough, wear resistant plastic with excellent resistance to high temperatures and energy radiation. It is very dimensionally stable plastic and has a high mechanical bearing strength. PEEK plastic sheet also offers excellent chemical resistance and a high resistance to hydrolysis, even against super-heated steam.

It is also electrically insulating and has good sliding properties. It is easy to machine and is FDA approved for use with food (see TDS for this information).

Applications

Gears, wear strips, bushes, metering pumps, light mountings, friction bearings, ball valve seals, pump housings, wafer supports, plug parts and impact plates.
