Fabric Connectors

Fabric connectors and sleeves are commonly used for product and air transfer and shaft protection applications. PAR can manufacture fabric connectors and sleeves with welded or stitched seams and reinforced with a wire or PVC helix. Cuffed ends can also be added to increase flexibility and strength.

Applications

Transfer of product from hopper to wagon. Ductwork flanges, hopper-feed bellows, cement handling, grain loading and food processing.

EPDM Coated Glass Cloth 0.7 Up to +130 Good resistance to weather, oils, solvents, acids and alkalis.
PVC Coated Polyester 0.47, 0.75, 0.80 - Tough, flexible materials with good resistance to abrasion and weather.
Silicone Coated Glass Cloth 0.4, 0.6 Up to +250 Flexible high temperature cloth with either a single or double sided coating.
Neoprene Coated Glass Cloth 0.45 Up to +100 General purpose grade with good resistance to ageing and weather.
Viton® Coated Glass Cloth 0.8 Up to +250 Very good resistance to oils and solvents. Good resistance to alkalis, dilute acids and concentrated acids.
Hypalon Coated Glass Cloth 0.5 Up to +135 Excellent resistance to weather. Good resistance to oils, solvents, alkalis, dilute acids and concentrated acids.
Aluminium Coated Glass Cloth 0.8 Up to +150 Good heat reflective properties and good resistance to solvents and corrosive liquids.
Graphite Coated Glass Cloth 1.3 Up to +600 Excellent heat resistance, good abrasion and release properties.
Silkev Silicone Coated Aramid Fibre 2.5 Up to +220 Excellent base fabric durability with a high temperature, non-stick, food approved white silicone coating.
Polyester Fabric (Terylene) 0.5 - Good resistance to stretching, shrinking, wrinkling and abrasion. It is also easily washed and quick drying.
Neoprene Coated Nylon 0.8 - Good strength and abrasion properties with resistance to both ageing and weathering.
PTFE Coated Glass Fabric 0.44 Up to +260 Excellent durability at high temperatrures and is non-flammable. Excellent resistance to chemicals and is easy to clean.
Blue Neoprene Coated Polyester 0.5 - Good durability and abrasion properties, food approved.
