Tri-clamp Unions are a very popular hygienic fitting due to providing a smooth, non-contaminating internal pipework joint. They consist of two ferrules which are compressed together using a clamp and a seal between the two ferrules which provides a tight seal. Tri-clamp unions and seals are manufactured to BS 4825 part 3 in either 304 or 316 stainless steel as standard and are easy to remove by hand using the single hinge clamp wing nut.

Tri-Clamp Seals are compressed between two ferrules using a clamp which provides a tight seal. The flanged/lipped profile is designed to remain in position without support which eliminates the need for the user to hold the gasket in place during connection. This makes the installation process easier.
