Emco Wheaton DRY-BREAK couplers and adaptors have a specially designed interlock feature in each coupler which ensures that they cannot be opened until securely attached to the adaptor. Once coupled and opened, the coupler cannot be removed until the valve is completely closed, eliminating the risk of leakage that could endanger personnel and the environment.
All 2" couplers and adaptors begin with the J72 prefix, followed by the relevant configuration letters and numbers below for the required part. The format will be J72X-XXXX-XXXX.
An example part number would be: J72C-AVN0-A (coupler, aluminium with Viton seals, Female NPT inlet, straight with no swivel). Any special feature requirements go on the end of this part number, such as J72C-AVN0-A004 (the same part as above but includes a dust cap).
