Food quality rubber hose is used to convey a range of alcohols, fruit juices, animal and vegetable oils and other solid, liquid and dry foodstuffs. They are manufactured from various rubber compounds and are reinforced with textile plies, wires, or a combination of both. The hoses are non-tainting, non-toxic and conform with industry recognised standards such as FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, EC 1935/2004 and 2002/72/EC.
Our range includes brewers hose that is used to process a wide range of alcohols, oil resistant hoses which are suitable for use at high temperatures, and tan-para lined hoses that can be earthed to prevent static build-up while conveying abrasive media. All these options can be used with hygienic fittings and many other stainless steel adaptors available to view in our couplings and clamps section.
